Super Swamper LTB
The Super Swamper TSL LTB and Super Swamper Bigger LTB are basically more aggressive versions of the Super Swamper TSL. They utilize the same TSL (three stage lug) design as the famous Super Swamper TSL’s but the large lug is offset more to the outside which gives the tire superb traction. TSL is a lug pattern with massive short, intermediate and long lugs that are each uniquely arranged, proportioned and spaced which allow them to bite quickly and self-clean rapidly. LTBs are bias ply constructed, which allows for the more aggressive lugs and very strong sidewalls to better resist the rigors of hard core off-roading. The bias construction also reduces the chances of sidewall splitting when run off road at low air pressure.
Super Swamper LTBs are D.O.T. approved off-road, purpose built, bias tires that also provide a surprisingly smooth on-road ride. Super Swamper LTBs are available in select wheel sizes and width variations from 31x11.50 to 34x10.50 in the "Little LTBs", and 35x12.50 up to 47x17 in in the "Bigger LTBs" also refereed to as the 200 Series LTBs (all Bigger LTB Models have a three digit SKU/Model number starting with a 2) . LTBs and Bigger LTBs only differ in size, and side wall design. Due to their anticipated use, the Bigger LTB's include side-lugs that aid in both added traction and side-wall protection.
Note that the Super Swamper TSL LTBs unique design requires strict attention to air pressure when run on the highway, and actual tread patterns may (slightly) vary based on tire size.
