Lucas Bogosian

PROFESSIONAL ANGLER AND INTERCO FAITHFUL 

 

New Jersey native, and lifelong Interco Faithful, Lucas Bogosian has been involved in fishing nearly

his whole life. Lucas, also known as BOGO to those on the circuit, friends and family, became a Professional Bass Angler at the young age of 19.  Lucas grew up close to and fishing his home state’s largest lake, Lake Hopatcong.  He credits much of this opportunity and experience to his success on the pro level.

Lucas cut his teeth in the world of competitive angling while fishing in college at Centenary University, and as a member of The Bass Federation and The American Bass Association. During this time Lucas racked up an impressive 20 plus top 3 finishes as well as a 4th place in the New Jersey Youth Bass Federation. Now at the seasoned age of 24, Lucas is preparing to enter his fifth year as a professional angler competing in both the Bass Master Opens & FLW Toyota Series.

Flipping jigs in offshore grass is Bogo’s favorite style of fishing, and it’s the technique he attributes to his most successful tournament appearances. Lucas shares his love for fishing by volunteering and supporting many youth groups where he encourages all to work hard, be thankful and to follow their dreams and passions.

With hard work and passionate dedication to the sport he loves, Lucas has landed tremendous support from an amazing group of sponsors, and Interco Tire Corporation is proud to be one of them.  Lucas has been a member of Team TSL since 2017 and runs 35x12.50R20 M-16 Radials (model M16-33), mounted in Swamper Wheels, on his 2018 Nissan Titian daily driver pick-up / tow rig.  Logging in over 30K miles a year traveling to and from one lake to the next, it is imperative to make sure the tires on his Titan can hold to the rigors of tournament life.  Interco is known for its legendary tires and their performance both off-road and as a daily driving pavement pounder. 

When asked what he likes most about his Interco tires Lucas pointed out the surprisingly good ride quality they deliver. “I’ll admit, when I first saw how aggressive the M16s were I had my doubts about using them on my daily driver and tow rig. After the first trip though, I was sold. They are a solid tire, with a great ride, and when it comes to getting my boat out of the lake and back on dry land – that vaunted Interco traction really kicks in.  I am proud to have M16 tires under my truck, and Interco in my corner.  Not only do they ride well, perform well, but they are also holding up very well. I couldn’t be happier than I am with my Interco Super Swamper M16s.”
