Interco Light Truck Tire Warranty Information
Interco offers a limited warranty on its tires against manufacturing defects and craftsmanship. The warranty period is 5 years from the manufacturing date for DOT-approved tires and 2 years from the manufacturing date for ATV/UTV/SXS Tires. Competition compound (“STICKY) tires and non-highway use only tires are not covered under warranty for any reason.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Contact Your Original Dealer
They will inspect the tire and determine if the issue is a result of a manufacturing defect. If it is, they will issue you an adjustment credit based on the age and tread wear of the tire. Much like any other automotive wear item, your adjustment credit will be prorated based on the vehicle's usage. If you experience any issues with your original dealer, please get in touch with Interco directly.
Contact Interco directly (if the dealer is unavailable, cannot, or will not help you.)
Call the Warranty Department at 800-299-8000.
Be prepared to submit the following information electronically:
Photos of the tire (sidewall (full photo of the sidewall), tread profile (full photo of the tread profile and close-ups), and the issue. Close-ups of the issue will be required.)
DOT code of the tire
Photo of the vehicle with the tires on it
Tread depth of each tire
Video for specific issues (out-of-round, leaks, and other issues not captured or visible with still photography)
Copy of your original purchase receipt
NOTE: You may want to send this information to Interco via the email address below before making the call. It could help speed things up.

What Interco Offers (if a manufacturing defect is found)
Adjustment credit, through the dealer, for the tire's value (not retail price)
A possible discounted price on a new tire (minus the credit)
In most cases the defective tire (in part or whole) will need to be returned to Interco for a warranty claim to be processed at the customer’s expense.
You are responsible for freight, mounting, balancing, and other fees associated with the removal and installation of tires. The warranty does not cover these fees.
Additional Notes
Keep your original purchase receipt. It is required.
Used tires or tires purchased second-hand are not eligible for warranty.
DOT tires used in competition are not eligible for warranty.
Any tire that is deemed to have been damaged in a way other than how the tire was intended to be used will not be covered by warranty.
Competition compound (“STICKY) tires and non-highway use only tires are not covered under warranty for any reason.
The warranty covers DOT-approved tires for 5 years from the date of manufacture, not the date of purchase.
ATV/UTV tires come with a 2-year warranty from the date of manufacture.
Having all the required information upfront speeds up the process.
Road hazards and improper tire maintenance are not covered under warranty. Failure to use the tire in any manner other than that recommended could void the warranty.
The use of bead-lock and/or homemade wheels will void the warranty.
Any tire used for a purpose other than its intended use or with non-recommended or non-DOT-approved equipment may not qualify for warranty. Interco may work with you in some cases.
The warranty does not cover irregular and premature wear.
ATV/UTV Tires: Follow the same steps as the Light Truck Tire Warranty.
Competition "sticky" tires do not have a warranty.
